T5 fresh water tank is leaking

Hi,

Our fresh water tank is leaking. It is dripping slowly from underneath the van. I have tried repositioning the level that closes the valve, but with no luck so seems to be something else than the valve. Will I be able to access the valve and the tank if I remove the shield under the van? Any other tips on what the problem could be or tricks on how to fix it would be much appreciated!

I would suggest moving the tap lever vigoursly from full On to full Off 5 or 6 times with water in the tank before taking things further. I'm not sure if the tap mechanism is visible if the undershield is removed. I fear not.

Thanks! I did remove the shield underneath, but you are right, it does not help much. I can see that it seems to be the valve that is leaking, but there is no way to replace it from underneath. I have tried to move the lever many times back and forth with no luck so far, but will try one more time before taking it to the shop.
