Hi,
Our T6 has three rails in the back but assume the rear seat only uses the 2 outer ones?
As such assume we don't have any use for the middle rail so was wondering if we can get a new 2 rail carpet (and cover the 3rd middle rail) or whether the rail sticks up too much / would make carpet lumpy and contact rear seat when sliding - hence we have to stick with buying 3 rail carpet?
Cheers

Personally I'd see if you can grab an offcut from your local carpet shop and maybe slice it up and try it...
Could be an expensive mistake otherwise

I have a 2 seater bench T6.1. It has a large drawer under the seat which has a little roller than rolls along the third rail to support it. Despite that, I use the Marvel Mat door mat ( from here ) cut to fit and I cover the third rail and it all works fine. I just made sure the mat runs a long way back so the seat and drawer never pass by the end of the mat. I would imagine however that it is considerably thinner than one of the proper California carpets.

For those who might be interested, I did buy a brandrup 2 slot carpet. Can confirm you can get this to fit into a T6.0 ocean with 3 rails. Getting the middle carpet piece (that covers the middle rail) under the sliding bench and sliding drawer took a bit of doing but was possible by opening the drawer and lifting the drawer up a tad and also moving the whole seat back and forth - eventually the carpet appears at the other side and you can pull it to the right length from behind the bench. Sliding drawer works fine. We'll see if there are any long term issues, but it does look way better than the 3 slot carpets. The slot in velcro trims for the edge piece are cleverly done too - no sticky pads or glue required.

One caution - I bought from campervan bits using the picture they have up of palladium. The colour supplied is actually much darker than the photo. Some have suggested the picture is actually of moonrock which is a lighter colour (what I expected to match the van). If you google you can see moonrock and palladium (and the black like titanium) carpet are quite different colours - to my eyes the picture shown is not palladium. The picture on the official brandrup site appears to be the same lighter colour and not palladium. The carpet delivered was in brandrup packaging saying it was palladium.

The colour of the carpet between the front seats is moon rock. The middle section looks like palladium.

When I bought our first T6.1 we bought the full set of Palladium carpets. We had to get one piece changed - can’t remember which part because it was a different colour to the rest - I was told at the time there were actually two versions of palladium.

The colour on the campervanbits website is moorock too isn't it (but advertised as palladium)?

They are not even close. Same on brandrup website too it seems.
