In my haste to reply I forgot to say, sometimes it helps to pull the drawer out a tad it seems to take the pressure off the runner for the initial fit, I'm glad you managed.

Resurrecting an old thread here. I managed to fit my 2-rail mat under the runner this way, however it fits very tightly and as such prevents me from rolling the bench forward. Could some self-applied wear and tear improve this over time?
