Apparently mine has been built and is on a ship at present, I wasn't given a date for when it will arrive at the dealership but I have arranged a pick up date 2nd week in March. There is a check done at the dock to make sure it is in the same condition as when it was loaded and then it is transported to the dealer. Customs paperwork as well I guess at the port. No going back now, I am managing to suppress the exitment for now. Still a lot of sorting out to do such as selling a car etc and a few accessories to buy.Johnny, has your dealer confirmed that yours has been built yet? We are now in week 7 so I surely he should be able to confirm the build is complete. Mine is still showing on the system as confirmed for week 4 but all the dealer can tell me is that it is "in production" . He hasn't got a clue as to what that means.
Errr... you might want to fix that typing error SpookDammit, I envy you guys. I might see my bitch on August or September.
Actually the contract says they have 28 weeks to build and are allowed to extend for 12-14 more weeks

The dealer was able to give us the registration number as well which I will need very soon for insurance purposes.Apparently mine has been built and is on a ship at present, I wasn't given a date for when it will arrive at the dealership but I have arranged a pick up date 2nd week in March. Order tracking for cars is online but for commercial - including Cali's - is only available to the dealers. Some are better than others at keeping their customers updated! Is that order tracking feature available only for UK orders? Don't see anything like that on a german website.
The scheduled build date should be available to the dealer a few days after you place the order. You can continue to make changes until it becomes a confirmed date about 4 weeks before build. At least that's how mine went in the UK. Then the build date arrived and passed - 4 weeks ago - and now apparently no one can tell me a thing. Frustrating. So I suppose the build date becomes available sometime after the order. Not right away, right?
Don't want to bug the dealer 1st month after ordering Was informed I can make changes to options list during 1st month.
Think this guy is going to get very busy!!! We ordered ours Dec 16th and told build date wk 12 which then went to wk 8 and now told wk 17!! We have a euro tunnel booked for end of June which looks like we are not going to be able to use. Think an email coming his way. What queries did you have that he was able to answerTry contacting...

He has been very helpful with me and has answered most queries I've had. I ordered back in August and it's just arrived at the dealer this week. Waiting for a 16 plate before I take delivery. So all in all c. 6 months wait from ordering.
