The broom trick, and other clever stuff …

On our last visit to Berlin, we found a broom system that showed up to brilliant for the Cali. It is made of two (tree) pieces. A hand broom with turnable head, a telescopic pole and a dustpan if you want it.

1. It can be used as a small hand broom indoor.
2. It can be used outside as a normal broom when mounting the pole.
3. And most important: It can be used to broom the top side of the awning before winding it back in. Just turn the head of the broom sideways.

The system is expandable with a lot of cleaning accessories.

Actually, we also bought a small USB fan that efficiently distributes the air inside (warm or cold). And we found a very minimalistic bin, that fits perfect between the kitchen unit and the front seat.

I always struggle to clean the leaves etc off the pull-out awning, a telescopic broom is ideal.

We use one of these, absolutly brilliant. The handle is telescopic and the head detaches for easy storage.

Great ideas Henrik, I picked up a similar broom/mop in France. Great for leaf removal and cleaning the roof. The wash mit is removable and replaceable from Carrefour.

I considered these to (we use on at home). But I alway try to keep things compact and small, and I find it takes quite some space to carry just for that purpose. That is exactly what I find so brilliant with the other broom I found. It compact and multifunctional.
