good stuff, I don't have watch much tv at home as not loads of time between work, training, getting outside and away in the cali. Don't watch tv in that as a rule. Each to their own.

agreed, i pay for no TV whatsoever. even the license fee i avoid, but thats another thread argument for another day. as for TV when i'm away ? no way !

don't mind the BBC fee, listen to radio a fair bit and they do some good factual content, science, BBC Scotland outdoor programs etc so feel its fair value. Others may disagree but there's not many radio station out in the sticks up here that not BBC, without an internet connection.
4G in even the most remote placing is getting common where there's a road I find it a bit sad as it take the magic away from some places.

Oh it’s not the cost, just refuse to use amazone for anything. Funny thing is I keep getting fake calls and emails from them saying there’s a problem with order or account (have never had one).

ha. it's just called file sharing mate, i'll take my chances. we've all been doing this (pirating) since we recorded our mates lps onto a cassette for our walkmans. i'm sure everyones guilty. have you never pirated a computer game or a cd ? i've done it 10s of thousands of times. all my games on my old commodore 64 were piratted onto 5 1/4 inch floppy discs. i had hundreds of them (wish i'd kept that). the rozzerrs haven't caught me yet

I know it's pointless posting this cos you won't stop, but "File sharing" is just a euphemism for stealing. Sure, when I was young a taped music, but then I grew up and understood more and decided where my moral boundaries lay.
Sure I know the arguments..."Amazon can afford it blah blah blah", but you should think about the little people who create the content that you steal...when you don't pay, they don't get paid.
How much is an Amazon Prime account now...less than £100? You can afford a 60k campervan, but can't afford that?

I was only pointing out where a fellow could watch something for free but as usual someone holier than thou has to chelp in. you don't have to take my advice about stealing and i don't have to take yours about joining amazon prime. i've watched it now and i can't unwatch it.
you say your a man of many principles and moral boundaries, and my principles tell me not to give cash to tax avoiding amazon. it's not just about the 100 sheets per year. i find it amazing though that you have NEVER downloaded anything not even an mp3 choon to listen to in your playlist. you are amazing, i am not. i do it all the time
