Sounds great is there room for me!
In all seriousness do it the sooner you can, worse case is you have to go back and do some more work after an adventure. The longer you leave it the more things happen in life to stop you.:thumb
I totally agree now is the time you don’t know what tomorrow will bring. I just ordered myself a Hymer ml t 780 blackline for my 60th birthday it’s a suprise gift from my children. Well it’s going to be a suprise to them when I tell them.

Just seen this and assumed was plus VAT, but no - it really is a used T7 Ocean for under £67k! I bet that sells fast...

6 months old, 6k miles and only 11k / 12% less than list price, seems expensive.

£66k for a pretty much brand new Ocean.
Let’s be honest T7 California prices are tanking……

But this was slightly predictable .... I remember pointing out discounts already for a new model and stock choice for a built to order vehicle and someone saying that £1200 to £1500 wasn't a discount..... well it will increase as it tries to find its market price and VW offers incentives to shift stock

I like the vehicle, but I think it misses the brief slightly from the T5 / T6.....and I dont want two side doors! I think at 66k it GVFM, particularly when I can spend 100k on replacing the Mrs' X5

Have a look at the Burstner B66 644. If you want one, get your order in very quickly as the build slots are going to be very long after the NEC. German built (ok on a Ducato), 140hp auto, diesel heating and hot water, condenser fridge freezer, good alloys and graphics, big U shaped lounge with massive drop down bed. 4 seats 4 berths.
At £66k all in it has blown a big hole in the market. It's literally 20% cheaper than the pre reg stock sat in the dealers. It won't suit everyone but I think it should be on everyone's shortlist for ex Cali owners who need a bathroom, standing height etc (the usual list).
yeah its on my list to look at, though i prefer a fixed bed rather than the U lounge, i'd really like a Westfalia Columbus 600D but can't get my head around the price!

I guess it’s conceivable that we might see high quality used 6.1s selling for more than brand new 7s
I reckon in future pre-bellowsgate T6.1s will be the most sought after Californias. T6.1 Caravelles certainly fetch a premium price!

Discounts can be had on westys you have to ask normally. Had good deal pre Covid on both of mine (two different dealers).

I personnel love the t6 maybe just the cd player and CarPlay also prefer the front end.
Must admit my t6.1 does drive nicer

Best of both worlds then. :cheers
Agreed, I like the clean contrast. It would be my choice. Saw an all bay leaf green Ocean in Spain a couple weeks ago (a German registered rental) and it looked fab, but not a uk colour choice.
