Throttle peddle, half way stop

Just before I go crawling around in the footwell upside down, has anyone investigated/modified/removed the annoying halfway/3k rpm stop on the throttle pedal?

I assume it’s just another nanny eco thing?

So I carried out this mod this afternoon.

Not much I can add to the thread apart from echoing how satisfying it is to get rid of the annoying pedal stop.

Fairly easy to do. Under an hour.
Couldn’t have done it without the long extension and wobble.

Trick to replacing the nuts, wrap them non a small piece of blue roll so they jam in the socket.
