Thule Roof Bar System

Finally got my roof bars on. I have to say the Thule system is really solid and secure.

Looks really nice. Sorry to be a dunce but I have a T6 (all new to this still) do the Thule bars fit a roof that pops up and down; and if so do you just leave it on. Apologies if this has been answered or asked elsewhere?!

You can leave it on the channels in the roof which the bars fit into are part of the lifting section.
