Trim Unstuck

Hi, was just washing the van and noticed that this bit of trip has come away. Looks like it was fixed on with some sort of rubber compound? Cali is seven months old. I assume this is a warranty fix? Does anyone know a good dealership in the Wells, Glastonbury, or maybe Taunton, Bath area?

Probably stuck with double sided tape. I’d be tempted to buy some 3M auto tape and do the job myself. Cost of the tape probably less than the fuel to get to your closest van centre - also I bet you’ll wait a while.

It’s stuck to the body shell with black sealant

the club shop sells the part that has become detached, may be worth exploring what the adhesive VW use or advise to be used given the Club Shop sells the plastic part ?

if not there are plenty of products on the market that will stick it back on , search Sika products which are widely used by Automotive, Carvan & Conversion companies. It will require tape to secure it whilst the product sets

edit, failing A diy Job, any body shop will stick that back on for a Drink
