Can anyone please recommend a trusted VW specialist in North yourkshire for servicing/general maintenance? (Not a main dealer)

Hi, I' don't know of one in York but there is Ricci Concept in Hull. I've not used them myself but have seen them at some of the VW shows I go to.

Depending on how far you're prepared to travel I would certainly recommend Autotechnica in Hull. Andy (the owner) and the guys who worked on our previous cali (2006 2.5 174 manual) were VAG qualified, knew their stuff and were very helpful. Still use them for our EOS even though they're 30 something miles away.

Thank you for the recommendation. really appreciate it. I'm about double the distance over Skipton way. Thinking Hull might be a tad to far, but thanks anyway.

I know you don't want a main Dealer but I've had good experience with JCT600 in York. You might find a better recommendation for an independent on the T4 / T5 Forum as many (most?) Calis are serviced at main Dealers, for better or worse ...

Depending on what you need I would also recommend Exploria in Brighouse, they did a great job fitting my diesel heater & offer a lot of different VW services.

Is a bit far. Cheers for the recommendation though. Might end up taking it to the main dealer. Just don't fancy being potentially ripped off. Might change my question to" does anyone have a VW stamp for sale". Ha ha.
