Under seat sub woofer recommendations

I have previously done the Alpine front speaker upgrade and now I am looking to do the Sub under the drivers seat I have been looking around at either new or used ones and so far these two models have come up Pioneer WX140DA and the InPhase USW300 one is 160 watt and the other 300w is this really going to make a lot of difference? I am just looking for something to add a bit of tone to the audio not to shake the windows out.

Has anyone experience of the above 2 units or can recommend an alternative

Have you looked at the alpine one - it would be what I would go for having already gone for their front speakers

I can recommend the matching Alpine sub/amp. Completely transformed the sound. I got a mobile installer to fit it for £200 in a morning. Must be someone in Southampton who can do the same.

I'm guessing that all subs are going to have the same complexity of fitting?

They are in Amesbury and do a custom underseat install that I have seen them talking about on the T6 forum. Might be worth an email. They seem knowledgeable

I already have the SPC-106T6 door speakers and was enquiring with an audio dealer about the Alpine amp + sub and found out there's a new version coming as the SPC-D84AT6 "was a troublesome product for Alpine" and is discontinued.

Horn Distribution also replied with "The new version is called SPC-W84AT6-2. It’s big improvement on the old version but still fits the same way and to the same vehicles (T6 + T6.1 under drivers seat)....Europe will see a release date of Oct and Nov/Dec for UK...Everything in the kit will remain as it was with exception of the amplifier, which will be a newer more efficient version....RRP 699" (ouch - hopefully dealers won't be charging that!

If you are thinking of Alpine then it may pay to hold off and see if the new model is actually better - another comment on the forum mentioned it can't run the rear speakers - or the old one gets heavily discounted?
