Unplugging Control Panel 08 Plate

Hello All
Have removed the control panel and disconnected the smallest and largest connectors. The mid-sized one has defeated me. For the smallest connector I was able to depress a tiny metal clip and the connector then slid out. It seems as though the mid size connector may have a pair of these metal clips to either side. Is this so? And if it is can someone advise how to deal with them.
