Upgrade radio, is it worth £450

Each to their own but spending over £50k on a Cali and sticking your phone to the windscreen to save £450?

Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are way more than just maps and Spotify
Well, if I save £450 here it's actually less than 50k, and £450 is still nontrivial in my books. On the second point, I guess I meant to cover this with the "etc", but can't my phone already do massively more than whatever the van can do with app connect? Wouldn't it be paying £450 mostly to look at it on the van screen instead of my phone screen? I suppose the complaints about buggy tech that others have made resonate as well. I will try to look into what android auto offers though, thanks.

I had bad advice and didn't get an app connectable radio, so I got a decent charging Dock + mount (brodit) and hard wired it in to hide all cables. I can run app connect on my phone. Looks neat and is angled towards me. All connects up for music and phone with Bluetooth of radio, so I'm happy.
