Upper Glovebox mechanism

Has anybody had any issues with the drive cog mechanism on their upper glovebox. Recently the mechanism for opening the upper glovebox on our 2016 T6 California Ocean broke. I've attached a picture of the broken part and another of the opposite cog which is still fitted and in good working order. I am trying locate a replacement cog if anybody has had the same trouble? I am still trying to locate the cog which appears to have separated from bracket shown in the first picture.

Looks like only the complete Glove Box is available.

Perhaps use a couple of technical Lego cogs

Thanks for the feedback.

I've actually bought a new glovebox just purely to salvage the parts. A bit expensive for a part that is likely to be less than a fiver. However if I can find a part that fits the job I could sell on the glovebox in its entirety.

I'll check into the Lego parts, thanks for the pointer, one place I haven't looked.
