Van at dealer, but bike rack isn't

Just noticed the protector kit came with the new rack. Have dismantled the damaged rack. So some spares available. I wonder where is best to advertise them?

You also need to be a VIP to respond to adverts which isn't ideal.

I can see why its done, VIP's get the first dibs on Sales... but if no takers maybe it should be open to non members to allow the VIP to get the sale... Just an opinion from someone yet to join.

well, as an update the dealer told me to go pound sand, they're not going to ship the bike rack to me. They're fine with me arranging and paying for a courier though. This seems ridiculous to me, in that you buy a super expensive vehicle, it comes with a bike rack, they can't supply the bike rack at the time the vehicle is ready for pick up, they can't even tell you when the bike rack will be available, but then when the bike rack does show up they expect you to pay the cost of getting the bike rack you already paid for. Anyway, whatever, I may write a review of this dealer (there are both pros and cons) but won't comment further on that here.

Does anyone know the dimensions of the box the T6.1 bike rack comes in? It would be very helpful for getting quotes and seeing what this would cost.

I still have the box in my garage but am away for a couple of days so can measure for you when I get home. As a rough guide though when I collected it from the dealer it was a tight fit in the back of the Ocean, with the bed down we just managed to get it in with I think no more than about an inch to spare width wise, it’s big !

I’ve just had exactly the same experience. Had to wait months for the bike rack to come in and then they couldn’t send it to me, but then it was free so it’s hard to complain. In the end we had a day out and picked it up. Sorry I don’t know the size of the box but it’s big, it took two people to carry it out. We took it out of the box and put the rack on top of the bed and there wasn’t much spare room.

156 x 49 x 97 - Total weight boxed is 22kgs

Brilliant, thanks both.
I only had it to hand as its sat here in my Warehouse waiting for me to get it on eBay (or here)
Thankfully it'll only cost me £12.95 to send with my Couriers but I'd imagine it won't be a cheap (circa £70) thing to move if you don't have an account.
