T5 bike rack questions

I wouldn’t use the locking knob for security they are easily prised off with a screwdriver.

All sorted I think. Got them taken apart with a bit of WD40, cleaned off some corrosion, greased, re-assembled and put back on the right way now I think! Looks like my rear wiper now has clearance... although I need to get that fixed as it does not work since it hit the bike arm pre-Xmas. Hope it's nothing too expensive gone wrong.

Stupid final question. I assume I use the locking knob on whichever bike arm is the outermost in use, depending on number of bikes?

If you carry expensive bikes I would use extra locks..You can’t stop the determined thief but at least it’s a good deterrent. Our first bikes were not worth stealing but have now upgraded so will take extra precautions..That’s when we can go on holiday again of coarse..
