Van service intervals

Last week there was a posting regarding service schedules that seem to follow Van servicing and that low mileage California could take a while to reach the required mileage
I bought up this with my Local VW centre and its not a problem , like me I intend to have a service and oil change once a year
They informed me when I am ready book your first service and we will change your standard service plan to a "Time and distance plan and it will notify you to your own set plan
