Nipped over to Anglesey Island as the weather was looking good...



Drove down to Black Point overlooking Puffin Island for a coastal walk and lunch.



Then on towards Beaumaris to find a deserted sandy beach overlooking the mainland where we set up a nice BBQ and watched the sun set before heading off.

How I keep my Sanity.

Just arrived somewhere near the Pennine way.

I am here with my (mildly) autistic Son, who is returning to the United States with no job, no insurance and no idea but "he likes it there", with my Sister, who I took to the hospital this morning for a final consultation with a surgeon before having a dangerous, but non-malignant, lump removed from her throat, visiting 94 year old Mum who is slowly losing it. Son and Sis are in BnB rooms in the pub that I am parked behind.

Thankfully I have Albert, Fresh air, open moors and my trail shoes in the van. Off for a run before dinner.

Only one motorhome here when we arrived, all nice and quiet.
Now some guy in a huge ugly grey thing has arrived.
Of course it had to park next to us despite being spaces empty down the far end.
Within three minutes, TV aerial up and a bloody racket coming from them.
Unbelievable

With my Son deciding to return to the USA the impromptu trip "oop Norf" to visit Mum in a Saddleworth nursing home had to take place.

She's 94, immobile and can't speak due to strokes, but the old girl still has all her marbles. Always a wanderer and explorer she adores Albert and going about in him. Her genes have certainly rubbed off on me .
