Visiting California in my Cali

I was passing by California at the weekend and thought I should pay a visit. Sadly, this wasn't the Sunshine State but Scotland's very own Sunshine Village ... just up the hill from Falkirk.

No campsites - and not much of anything, just some houses and a community centre - but at least the sun did briefly come out in between the showers.

Are there any more Californias in the UK ??

I think there is a California cliffs or sands in Norfolk near GT yarmouth

I like that. Almost did something similar in the Westphalia region of Germany...

I couldn't resist - it's not too far from home.

I did think it would make a cool location for the Scottish Cali meet. However, while there is a pub nearby it looks the kind of place that would make for a memorable visit ... for all the wrong reasons !

I'm actually in California at the moment, the one in the States, but unfortunately I don't have my california with me!! :evil:
