Does anyone know the correct part numbers for the vw approved Eibach Coilovers to fit a 6.1 Beach?

Am told they are the T30 version, but dealer won't give me the part number (so I can't work out just how much they are trying to rip me off)

Contact Bognor Motors. They supply and fit them

+1 for Bognor. We’re about £500 cheaper from memory.

Thanks, for now I'm just looking for part numbers if possible

Spoke to Bognor just now, they have to order them in from VW (they are £1,290.50 + Vat in case anyone is wondering - parts only).

We paid £1406+vat in Jan 2020 from Bognor inc fitting. It was 30% less than VW quoted at the time.

Costs about £200 more now, possibly just an increase in parts.

£500 cheaper at BM (than the supplying dealer) but they don't calibrate the ACC - so not an exact comparison.

Makes sense- we do t have ACC so no calibration in our comparison.

I read a conversation on here (or the T6 forum) a few days ago regarding the ACC. The general concensus seemed to be that it didnt have to be re-calibrated, worked as normal after lowering. Something to clarify with Bognor maybe

Lots of debate about the ACC. Spoke to Bognor and their view is that it isn't required if dropping 40mm, but the lower you go the more chance it could be required.

Requires an expensive bit of kit that only specialist wheel alignment places have.

Would be interesting to be a fly on the wall when VW did an alignment, to see if they just check it (and then do nothing), or they actually do change it!

Eibach set for California 2017 : TU-024780-L0-024 order via Ebay.de much better price!!

And no need for alignment! Do a search on Ebay.de for best price!

Thanks, so this one: https://eibachshop.com/index.php?p3...sporter-v-box-transporter-v-bus-transporter-v

Front axle load is only 1550Kg, which isn't enough for a T6.1 California Beach Camper (I don't think)

However, does show the markup that VW charge. Strangely, when I spoke to Bognor Motors, he called VW to get the price - implying you can only buy them through VW?

Perhaps it is this one:

Which is €1,520.35 RRP - more inline with what VW charge.

Or this one

The above two appear to be almost identical (one has 01 in the part number, the other 02). The cheaper one mentions "Not for "T32" - Vehicles with double bolt McPherson strut. - Only for vehicles with strut-clamp."

Based on the information in the installation instructions the two models have different front coilover struts (the springs, and rear shock all have the same part numbers on both). The different front strut means that they have different max / min adjustment values; however both quote the same weight rating and lowering range on their respective pages,

From what I have read, a T32 has a different fitting, requiring a different front strut, so I *think* that the '01' is for the T28 / T30 and the '02' is for the T32. Just a little confused, as I thought I read that the T32 was the one with the strut-clamp, but Eibach website says the '01' model is not for a T32, it is only for the vehicles with the strut-clamp??
