What does your roof seal look like , presumably rusty in the recess tgat grips the roof ?

Haven't seen any rust up there...First small blisters ...then more bigger blisters...then the paint was so loose it just flakes off. It's a shame as the van is virtually mint everywhere else. I've had it since 2008...and I'm on 49000miles...Washed it more than I've driven it!

This is what a failed roof rubber looks like (reinforcing rusting in the recess) suggest you investigate yours along the front edge before considering any remedial measures.

Is yours metallic wheat beige like ours?
Had ours since 2009 and at Easter it broke down making me worry about it age. On our street there are 2 T25s. I think I am looking to ease our van transitioning into a classic vehicle. Ours is a beloved family member also done 60K holiday miles. I think I now take a view that everything needs to be fixed properly.
