VW GSM System 2/3/4G

Does anyone know what radio band? VW use ie 2G 3G or 4G for transmitting the vans data ie for when your alarm has been activated or connecting to We Connect/Volkswagen for owners to receive vehicle information.
I ask as I’m sure most will know that 2/3G will be shut down soon, so where does that leave us owners.

As I am working in IT, I can confirm that the 2/3g band has no longer been used for.
Ever since the 4g was avainable that has been the standaard.
Where ever no 4g coverage is, 3g will kick in.
This will stay till they move slowly over to 5g
