VW T6 Ocean 2017 side mirror wiring

I reinstalled the side mirror of my VW T6 Ocean 2017, and now I am confused about the wires on the glass of the mirror. There's a brown and a white one - which one is top, and which one is bottom?

Bart, don't think it matters as that is the heating element. It should heat either way.

Doesn't matter.
The heating element is just a resistor. No current direction.
