Wardrobe Organisation

Ikea STUK fits perfectly, I have cut away the lower 2 spaces but you may let them rest on the floor.
In some “shelves” I fit ikea SKUBB boxes, the larger squared ones fit perfectly and slide out as drawers.
I only found this old photo, boxes are not there yet, and I actually have this installed facing the side (the sliding door) instead of facing forward (I find it more practical) but I hope it still gives you the idea of my solution.

We have recently changed to using the 'wardrobe' as our 'pantry' and find it is more convenient and provides easier access to the food items when cooking or sitting with the table at mealtimes.
We use the left hand side of the kitchen press for clothing stored in packing cubes, with 'hers' on top and 'his' on the lower shelf, which is more than enough space. We found the wardrobe area very challenging to manage on long trips, and especially when looking for loose items, or trying to get access to the safe, it was never easy. When cooking or eating in the van, or an extra biscuit is required for that cup of tea while sitting comfortably, theres no longer any bending under the table to access the kitchen presses which was a regular occurrence. We find our new pantry easy to live with, and we are delighted with our upgrade ;-)

Very nice. Especially like the use of clear boxes to instantly see ‘what is where’.

Like oh my God, what a game changer. Just out in Church Stretton and gave this a whirl. Making dinner was so much less stressful than before when we had to dock under the table for more ingredients.

I’ll need to build another shelf or two as I’ve only got one but the idea definitely has legs.

Thank you.

Glad it helped. I noticed tonight that the inside 'ceiling area' of the panty is very smooth plastic so very suitable for a 50cm metal strip from Silwy. This will also be the location to hang our glasses using their magnetic system, saving more space and glasses will be in easy reach and safe to access. It is a bit expensive but isn't everything these days. Once I have it installed I will upload a pic. Enjoy many more successful dinners using your pantry ;-)

Ok, I’ve read the thread from 2017 … but 7 years later is there anything that can make use of all that space in the main wardrobe?
We use packing cubes but they just sit at the bottom of the available space.
The shelves available (YesCampervan?) look like they aren’t actually very practical - only giving you some L-shaped shelves that are quite narrow. Why don’t they follow the shape of the wardrobe?
I’m not handy enough to make anything myself, so just wondered if anyone has come up with a cunning solution in the last 7 years?

' All that space' soon fills with two adults and a child in our case. We used Packing Cubes. Spare blanket and dog towel are kept at the bottom

That looks great - where did you get the shelves from?
