Wardrobe refit: Is this normal

Following a cabin courtesy lighting issue, the wardrobe had to be taken out.

During our first trip away I spotted a gap and what looks like a missing screw. Is it normal?

No. Our's has not been removed so as a reference there is a gap but the gap is even all the way around the top but it is not as wide as the gap you now have. (our van 2016 T6)

The gap on our 17MY is even all around and gap just allows the water cap key black plastic to slide in. Every van is likely to be slightly different and the gap will likely allow for the van body tolerances and also give the clearance to load the wardrobe unit in.

in our 2017 T6 there is a similar gap and there is originally no screw in the hole.
As the metal trim piece is just glued to the side of the wardrobe (and not bolted), this tends to get unstuck over time. Friends of ours have a 2018 T6 with this trim also ‘loose’.
Just recently I used this empty hole to place a small shortened screw that precisely fits in the dibond of which the wardrobe wall is constructed.
