What’s this please?

Hi all and sorry all but found this loose in the back after taking out the chairs. They now stow away but something doesn’t quite feel right and I’ve a feeling this is the culprit. Can it be sorted?

It goes inbetween the two chairs in the tailgate. Mine is always falling off

It sticks to the underside of the tailgate inbetween the 2 chairs, you should see a sticky area from where it has fallen off.

ours fell off ages ago. It’s in a box with other bits that have dropped off/out!

Ours fell out I decided unnecessary and lobbed it in the rear cupboard where it still resides.

Checked mine. It's not there. Presumably missing since purchase of Cali, but doesn't seem to affect anything very much.
