What have you bought for your Cali today :-)

Thanks! They’re silver wire micro LEDs and I used little blobs of hot glue to attach then ran the feed inside the b pillar housing on the passenger side to the 12v socket. V pleased with them. Got them from lights4fun
Ahh, I did wonder how you managed to fix them up. Makes it look really cosy.

Eibach 30mm lowering springs. Van was in for a service & mot. Turned out both rear springs were snapped (common) but I was shocked at the quote in excess of £500 to replace them. A quick check of Vw website to confirm I could have the ribs ha fitted all rounds for considerably less. No brainer. First impressions are very good in comparison. Also some new Bosch aero wipers, look better.

Great. Do you have Dynamic Chassis Control? Wondering if the lowering springs work with it

Surprise gift from my wife

Yes we recommend it, we’ve found it invaluable, expensive, but wouldn’t be without it.
We made simple screens that cover the two sliding windows and attach via self adhesive magnetic strips. You can buy screen mesh (very cheaply by the meter) that is even small enough to keep midges out (useful in Scotland apparently). For the main sliding door area and tail gate, we bought a pair of net curtains and small round powerful magnets that keep it in place. Cheap and simple solutions that work to help keep van cool and bug free...

An ottoman for the Thetford, bargain £9.99 from Lidl's isle of doom!

Looked a great option . Bought one, dark grey not had chance to place in in the van as my wife has nabbed it for the gym ! She has now gone off to see if the other Lidl in town has any more left as she does her essential shopping for the week Thanks for the heads up Algor. Great quality for the price !

May I ask for the website please?
We have some on the way. I like the way they fill the space and stop bits getting in the runners. The dog will love making them dirty too.
We bought from campervancarpets.com. They are really helpful.

Any good? Use an aero press atm, but I do love a coffee gadget!

Me too and she knew I'd like to get one just could not find a reason to buy one
First impression is good (handling and cleaning easy), look forward to use it on the road and compare to NS vers Italian way to make coffee versus coffee shop

We have an aeropress... I ended up going back to boiling an espresso pot on the cooker. It's a bit of a faff, but I don't think you can better traditional ways sometimes
