What have you bought for your Cali today :-)

Any reason why some of the Inka covers mention T6.1 and others just T5 / T6 ? Any major difference between the fitments on the 6.1 ?
The seats are identical but the headrests vary in size across the models.

Not sure its the headrests, the change there was between T5 & T6 so wouldnt be T6.1 specific.

I think on the second skins its actually the colours. On T5/T6 the headrests & armrests are Moonrock Grey, on T6.1 they are the darker Palladium Grey. Doesn't make any difference if you cover everything up but if you only fit say front covers there is an obvious colour mismatch.

I can't see any difference re the Isofix locations.

..that’s not really the point though is it!
Thankfully, the OP took it well but we can see from the comments that some people find it very off putting (rightly in my view) and it makes them reluctant to post. I know there is a view from some members that the kind of “know it all behaviour“ and picky comments we sometimes get on forums is all part and parcel of joining an online conversation but ... sigh .. my eyes are rolling.

You are right, its getting to the point where I feel its absolutely pointless responding to anyones post for fear of upsetting a snowflake.

Nearly everyone in the club is, or has been employed doing something or other in their lives. Many are involved in employment where high levels of skill and knowledge are required. In some cases the safety of others relies on their knowledge. Often it is second nature to comment on something relevant to the experience of the poster, e.g. the suitability of a jack, or as in this case, the quality of an electrical installation.
While I have been a member, I have benefitted from the experience of others on topics ranging from taxation to choice of diesel. Long may it continue
If I saw a ladder being used improperly whilst I was passing, I would comment, even at the risk of taking abuse, because I know what can happen. I think I would be irresponsible not to.
I appreciate that points could perhaps be made less forcibly, but, let's face it, we're all consenting adults if we actively contribute.

Don't take umbrage, your contributions are usually sensible and well balanced.

In the real world, we all face situations where the utmost tact and diplomacy is required to achieve a resolution, in other cases, firing a few FFFs gets the result. I'm not taking sides, but....

I have to agree. I think the installation of the socket-cable as room for improvement. I am no electrician myself. The benefit here, somebody is pointing out , why that could be a hazard. This should be a benefit to kurienp. I.e. advice: upgrade the cable, otherwise excellent idea.
It would be wrong, in my opinion, to say "Job well done", even though we know there is a potential flow..

Any "Brexit" problems, e.g. VAT charges, courier charges?
No problems, delivered in 6 days ... but €22 shipping was a bit steep. I wonder if ‘via vast tarief’ includes a (vast!) tax/tariff...

What's the benefit of actually having a campaign socket to plug into at home? I have a charging cable with a domestic plug on, that's plugs into a socket in the garage, i have always used for charging the caravan up. Is their a specific need to switch to a permanent camping socket type in my garage or is it only for outside use?

I use one of these in my garage then my 15m hook up cable. I also have European 2pin to CEE socket connection.

@Vagophile , I have one of those too and that is how I used to do it, but access to the internal socket was challenging to say the least as the socket is in the shed and each time I had to do a yoga pose to get to the cable and then pull it and plug it into the socket. (and now you know I am not a big fan of Yoga) :upsidedown :D;)

@Dodge1311 , my first thought was to just use a standard waterproof socket, but based on how I store things in the van, it was much easier for me to grab the standard cable, and so this made things easier.

Another secret reason - thankfully my wife is not on this forum - :D;) - if it was a standard waterproof socket, she would use that for Christmas lights all over the outside wall. This way I can tell her that her Christmas lights are not compatible :D:bananadance2and that this is a camping socket :D

Here you go sub three. And dodge, theres no benefit really over the 3 pin converter. I had it laying around spare so fitted it whilst wiring up the garage. Keeps the other sockets free for my beer fridge a d Hoover.

Is that summer air stored on the Robinson juice bottle ? Not a wise thing to do with the correct apparatus to ensure it isn’t mistaken for winter air :Iamsorry

And that SWA clipping looks like the Big Dipper at Blackpool :talktothehand:D
Wise man always allows plenty of extra cable free for future problems or additions. Hence the big dipper.

That's enough slack to reach kurienp's garage :D .

Only bants, nice new garage you've made yourself. :thumb
