What have you bought for your Cali today :-)

I was tempted to get the little customized rubbish bin sold by campercentrum outside Amsterdam, the one that fits between the kitchen unit and the passenger seat, when I was there a few weeks back. But it just seemed crazy to spend 70 euro or whatever it was they wanted for it.

I picked this up yesterday at The Range in Edinburgh. It fits perfectly. I fold the hinged lid back and slide it in. Handy to have an open basket for throwing things in, but you can also pop the lid up and on if you want for travelling or carrying it somewhere to dumb.

(I bought the darker one, but the lighter one with a different label seems to be identical except for the colour.)

Looks good! Would like to see a pic of it in place in your van?

Pop top bin from ikea is a good solution. Fits the space and a quick press and the lid opens for your tea bag drop.

Swapped out the tyres for some Michelin Agilis Cross climates.

Probably one of the smallest accessories one can buy and install. What a nightmare, but luckily there is a very good and helpful thread here to aid.

My ridgemonkey hinge broke on first use- so yes an endorsement of a good product is always welcome.

Had mine replaced as one failed on first use.

I don’t understand the love for ridgemonkeys. It’s ok but nothing more.
I think I’ve got the old fashioned variety, with fixed handles. We use them a lot for making toast and as an oven, by flipping them every minute or so on a low heat. We’ve also cooked very carefully pre-cut pizzas etc. They definitely earn their space in our van. I was thinking about upgrading to the detachable handle variety, but I might have been put off now!

Project Camper blinds for the cab area on order, thanks to the recommendations on here , looking forward to them arriving for some winter camping trips.

Ordered in Sunbeam Coast

Think they will take a few weeks to come through

Ooh please update when they arrive and perhaps some photos... I've been intrigued.

The replaced ones have been fine in fairness.
