I have replaced my 6.33 composite media system (5K7 035 200 G) with a kenwood dnx9190dabs

I know it needs an activation code from VW to work in another vehicle.

At the moment its an expensive paper weight, so looking to sell it.

I know its only worth what someone else is willing to pay but I don't want to under value it or just give it a way

i reckon these are worth keeping personally to sell on with the vehicle. some people like originality.

What will VW charge to provide new activation code? I believe the activation code is directly derived from the vehicle VIN, so not straight forward potentially.

I've read threads where people have paid £80-£100 for VW To remove component protection and or pair to new VIN

We changed ours 2 years ago, original was as new, didn’t sell even at a nominal price.
Donated it to a good charity outlet, hopefully they may have got a few quid for it.

Around £50. Just keep it, you can always put it back it the van if you sell & then refit your new one into your replacement van.

I was similar position last month but couldn’t be bothered with any hassle from buyers regarding radio codes etc, so just put it in the loft.

Hi there, I would be interested in your radio if we could reach a mutually agreeable arrangement.
