I was about to post the same question yesterday, having found these bits in a plastic bag inside one of the seat pockets. I flicked through the California supplement booklet to find these on page 13. I've now returned the bits after labelling as to what they are for.....as so easily they could have ended in the bin.

As said above , keep somewhere in the Cali , it’s the emergency tie down kit for the roof.
And indeed mentiont in other threads.

Thank you I thought it might but I have no idea how it works. I shall take a look at the handbook.

Next question what are these for? I found in with the jack.

I also read a thread about someone losing their Sparesafe nut. So I thought I would check out mine - can;'t find it!

I do have a towbar. I think it is called a swan neck.

Yes keys to unlock (and remove) the removable tow bar. Keep safe. But I like to drive with the towbar installed, as I think that it reminds the car behind not to get too close else they will damage their car!!
