Will genuine 16" VW steel wheels fit 2024 Grand California 600?

Hello learned friends

We are about to collect a 2024 Grand California 600 , that comes with 17" Lismore alloys and Summer tyres.

On our previous T6 Ocean, we used 17" steel wheels because the disk callipers would not allow a 16" wheel to be fitted.

We changed to the steel wheels with Winter tyres for the Nov-Apr period each year.

We would like to do the same with the new van.

Will we have the same issue with the GC600, or will we be ok with 16" steels?

16”:steels of the appropriate load rating will be fine on the GC. Up until the order books closed recently you could order the GC with 16” steels instead of the 17” alloys.

We have just put Michelin cross climates on our 17” lismore alloys.
Previous experience after this swap on our T6 was - exceptional
We hope for the same here

We put slighter bigger wheels with knobbly M&S rated tyres in our 680. This provided better traction on wet/muddy grass and a degree of help in light snow. We found the summer tyres, on our two wheel drive GC were useless on even slightly damp grass and a slope!!
I sold my Lisemore rims to pretty well cover the cost....perfect!

Yes but note that Ocean & GC wheels have different offsets and load ratings.
