Windscreen blinds

Hi the pull across windscreen blinds on my T6 have become a little wrinkled and will not recess completely into the windscreen posts. Any ideas to fix this problem? Will VW do this under warranty?

Try pulling them fully out but when you let them go back in keep them pushed to the base of the windscreen - they need to be flush in order to go back in with no folds

Mine had the same problem. Hopelessly wrinkled preventing them sliding back properly and they were replaced under warranty.

If you don't want to go down the warranty route you could possibly leave them closed during a warm day. May or may not work

As said above - fully open and slowly/carefully let the blind rewind whilst checking that the blind remains central.
Not the easiest of operations, the blind should loose any creases over time.

I find it easier to only use an external blind with combined side window coverage. Thin summer one and thicker insulating one for colder seasons.

I had problems with my blinds and took it back to the dealer where they replaced both front blinds. 2017 Cali
