Sorry I'm jumping ship at the news of a 5008.........

Good - it really was a rubbish car. After 20 years of trouble free Peugeot motoring, I felt the need for a new family car ahead of the birth of son #1.

I hadn't seen the Top Gear reconstruction of Peugeot's board meeting where they decided to make crap cars - unfortunately.

I think the 5008 depreciated at £3000 per year 10 times faster than the 309 and 406, and I nearly gave it away to a Romanian Uber driver on 28 February last year, the evening before I picked up my Beach.

Think some pickle is having a larf and hacked the thread! Caravan Club .... You'd be lucky to get away with cleaning your windscreen without being reported, so a chainsaw, no chance.
