Wing mirror query

This may sound like a stupid question but we have a 1992 Westy 2.4D imported from Germany but converted to RHD before being imported. The wing mirrors are still as they were when it was LHD drive so it's impossible to adjust them enough to get a clear view, particularly on what is now the passenger side.
Would RHD ones fit?

Would have thought so, people often change one of them on a RHD to a LDH mirror so that they match.

Should be able to pick some up cheap from a breakers/ebay.

We had the exact same conversation last week. I find it hard to believe VW bothered to tool up for asymetrical parts? Why bother.

Anyway I can't see why UK mirrors wouldn't fit?

Thanks for the advice. I'll get some and see if they fit. As you say can't see why they would bother with different tooling.
