Did you loose the whole bid including the stick bit?

I do hope you manage to get it out.

For future reference never poke anything down the holes to try a clear them, use only air. Make up a silicone nozzle with a piece of tube for blowing them through I just use lung power, you could try something like that to try and suck the bud out.

Half the issue is that I'm too short to see the hole properly.

It was just the bud not the stick. I'll keep an eye on it and also get the bigger steps out and have a proper look at the holes. Also good to know where the drain goes. I do already check the scuttles as we have a lot of leaf drop here.
