Yellow Paint

I have a gut feeling that because the yellow Beach is not metallic it might fade over time. I'm basing this purely on the number of faded yellow cars i see from mid 2005 or so (VW Polos mainly). Am I wrong or right?

Yellow and red are generally the fastest fading paint colours on cars, but VW use decent pigment in their paints and you should be good for a long time. I would have had a yellow van if one had been available at the time.

Not seen a Yellow Beach that has faded if it did a Lemon Beach would be quite nice

I don’t think* that they fade like they used to - you see the occasional 90s Golf or Polo where the red paint is faded to pink in the sun & the edges are almost blistered like peeling sunburnt skin.

Perhaps they’re just more long lived than their Fiesta & Astra contemporaries though ...
