No problem.. I don't think you can go too wrong in either place!
Jungfrau. Tip - try and park on the bank. Right hand side of site. We saw heavy rain last year and lots of water on the main pitches on the flat. Staff were brilliant in distributing pallets for campers to walk on. Pitches on the right hand bank are excellent and won’t get flooded. As for the site, staff and facilities, excellent and would certainly return.Going to Jungfrau early part of September
Question stay at Camping Jungfrau or Camping Breithorn ?
Any feed back welcome
Agreed. Looks a nice site, yes smaller but quieter.I used camping breithorn. You can just email them to book a pitch. It's small and quieter than jungfrau. Location amazing. Further to walk into town but there's a bus if that bothers you. But it's closer to the better walking areas and the shchiltorn cable cars for grindelwald. Also less screaming kids but I prefer less screaming kids more than other people seem to.

Spotless and almost like new.I stayed at Jungfrau some years ago and thought the facilities were excellent.
How are the toilets/showers etc at Breithorn...?
Thanks. That’s great adviceYou book direct through their website, they offer a discount if your a Caravan & Motorhome club member, it also works out cheaper the longer you stay.
Highly recommend this site, good location, staff are very friendly and helpful, shower block was spotless and we found it very convenient being able to book tickets for transport, excursions etc through them, shop and restaurant was handy to.
To be honest this site is not normally our cup of tea but really enjoyed it in fact we’re intending to head back next year.

Is this a prestige pitch and if so which size, as I notice some are list for VW and others for larger vans. Currently looking to book for 2026.QUOTE="soulstyledevon, post: 327111, member: 4110"]Awesome.
Went in 2013 and are thinking about a return trip this Spring.
This was our pitch.
Same pitch as us!!

We were there last year and arrived the day after heavy rain. The ground there, even on the slopes, can turn boggy quite quickly. Not so bed that you'll get stuck, but messy by the doorways. The site does provide timber duckboard. I recommend you grab one on arrival just in case. Can’t remember but you wouldn’t get a motorhome on it. Note it rained heavily whilst there and this pitch was flat but on the slope so ideal. It’s on the road side of the camp
Thanks, have previously stayed in Wengen and yes it can rain, particularly late afternoon from memory, when the streets turned into rivers and then half hour later all sunny again. Can’t remember but you wouldn’t get a motorhome on it. We go a few times a year, the Comfort pitches come with a tap, drain and some hardstanding. They also request the size of your motorhome and you will be placed you based on size. There are a lot of trees and residents caravans / homes so the pitches have a large degree of random size/access.Is this a prestige pitch and if so which size, as I notice some are list for VW and others for larger vans. Depending on exchange rate and various offers the Caravan and Motorhome club price can be cheaper than booking direct, but generally only if there is a free night offer.
The generic pitches are generally are a mix of grass or hardstanding, but what you get is based on what is available, they try hard to accommodate requests but won't promise it. In busy periods there are a lot of Rental vans and sometimes large groups, they generally stay a few days, so there is a large turn over of campers and again they will let you move pitch if you ask nicely.
