Boot protection from dogs - T6 Ocean

Ours goes on the rear shelf to dry off...We have a Lidl waterproof cover normally for a back seat of a car which is clipped to head rests, that covers the back of the bench and across the shelf. On top of this is vet bed cut off a roll so it goes a little way up the side of the wardrobe cupboard and the other side of the van. We don’t get much dirt as he’d be washed off and dried with micro towel after the walk....using collapsible bucket.

I forgot to say, more vet bed in living area as it dries and shakes so well....

I use a small hippo bag for my large black lab - I cut down two of the sides - so you are left with 3 sides and a flap - that can cover and protect the bumper when he's jumping in or the step if he's in the galley. It's not terribly glamorous but works a treat and only cost £8 - since the photo I've put little velcro discs on the sides so they add more protection. When he travels in the galley I roll down the sides and make a nest. Drove down to the S of France last summer and after there wasn't. hair in sight - and Jack is VERY hairy.

We are looking for a good solution to protect the rear of our Cali O from the pesky dogs we have - 2 wet, muddy and fidgety Cocker Spaniels.
Currently the boot of my Honda CRV gets wet, slobbered, pawed and muddy following daily walks
Some solutions do not protect up the sides of vehicle boots and we’re concerned the dogs will ruin the back of the seats and the inside plastic facias. We’ll just have to accept the dry dust they bring in!
Hoping someone has a tried and tested solution - photos would be appreciated. (Not necessarily of the dogs!)

We have on the back shelf a permanent Lintran cage for our dogs. We lose a bit of space, but the Brandrup canvass "trunk" serves as the list storage space.

Thanks for the suggestion and the link
I have since tried Hatchbag and they do nothing for a VW Cali or transporter etc
I asked the obvious question of if this a vehicle they would consider looking to provide a solution for (huge market etc) but they declined ......
“Thanks for your interest, for now the caper market is not our core market and so demand to us from customers.
Unless demand changed it is not something we would look at in the near future”
Hey ho - their loss

Think we’ve exhausted this thread now but not sure how to close it
Fairwell for now
