Buy all your VW California Accessories at the Club Shop Visit Shop

What have you bought for your Cali today :-)

Went for a free battery check - went home with a new free battery (changed my old one in May 19). Took them 2 hours - didn‘t bother me, got a ticket for public transport, coffee, cookies and again could check out the GC.

Saw some sale items (50%):

Didn‘t buy anything.

Just ordered a Slidepod kitchen pod in gloss silver to match Freda our Silver Beach.
Very impressed with all at Slidepods.

I got a second Ventilation grille, this time for the sliding door:
Brandrup isolite screen covers for the window and front doors.

On the first day of the new year i went to pick up some stuff i got on a 2nd hand site from someone who had some leftovers after selling the Cali.
I can realy say i did a bargain picking up 2 original fly screens for the sliding window (one has a tiny rip) 2 Reimo metal ventilation inserts for litlle money .
As we had to drive from Antwerp to West Flanders (cruising thru Flanders fields) for pick up we extended the trip to the coast and started of the first day of 2020 with a light lunch with beachview and a walk on the beach ! With only 3-5celcius it was nice returning to the snug warm Cali.
So our first 340km of 2020 in the Cali ticked away.....

I have bought a set of 2 bean bag rests/holders. The smallest will be used to stand my sat nav on the dashboard. The bigger one I may use to hold a kindle. They are hand made and were bought from EBay.

Any chance of a link or a name of the company look really good :thumb
Hi Gary&Heather, The company is called Freesleep...https://www.freesleep.es/gb/
gives you the english version of the site. We have used them before as we used to have a Nissan NV200 and the fit was brilliant.
The price is shown in euros and we paid with credit card which came out to £124 with the exchange rate at the time.
Delivered in a large cardboard box within 5 days...they have a zip carrier supplied with them and you can select part or all of the windows with also black or grey facings. Hunt around the site for the VW California set.

An expensive few weeks.
Best value is window tinting for the habitation windows for £180 to rid the van of the goldfish bowl look

I picked up a couple of well priced new items on ebay with their 15% (occasionally 20%) off offers....
So a brand new T5 VW bike rack on ebay for £466 delivered
And a set of varta leisure batteries for £340

Then I took advantage of the club shop offer to but a Isotop roof liner for just under £400 and a washing up bowl which was the worst value at £19!

Thanks, I made and fitted them.

I run a cottage industry sign shop. The stripes and decals (although they look white in the picture) are aluminium finish vinyl.

I am still considering whether to put something at the front end of the awning. It took 4 attempts and lots of wasted material to get it to look half decent.

I will be advertising the "=California=" bit of the sign on my eBay store soon as they are easy to fit, the 2 long straight lengths were a pain to fit and get right and could easily be ruined whilst fitting.
Fitted our decals, good quality thank you CD, also
added today, running boards, B post pillars, carbon door handles, radiator & wing mirror trim, black VW badges front & rear :)
