So I've just had a chat with Beth and my van IS on a boat!!! I'm guessing it's the Malacca Highway currently 5/6 hrs from Sheerness. Thanks for the advice (borne of your own impatience I'm sure). Celebratory takeaway tonight I think!!

Amazing! I see you ordered 29 Oct?! So quick, makes you wonder how they allocate build weeks, when my 150 ordered 8 Oct hasn’t even got a provisional date yet... ‍

JCB at Crawley. Bought through DtD though so haven't had or expected much contact from JCB up to this point but that should change after Christmas. Will be a bit of trip down (I'm up in Derbyshire) but nothing much else to do at the moment!

OK, I got mine from Eurovans Crawley too. I guess you’re dealing with Victor or Mike. I imagine they will contact you early next week once they’ve ordered the vehicle transport from the port to them. Mine was fairly quick from port to me collecting. Might be tight now for a before Christmas delivery but you could push for it. Eurovans will turn it round very quickly once they’ve got it.

I believe it was only 1 week.

My week 49 has been sat at Emden waiting for a boat to Sheerness since the 11th so definitely less than a two week build. No more boats to Sheerness until next week now so slim possibility of a pre-christmas landing on these shores.

My week 49 still in build. Vw chat said to check back next week.

!50's should be whizzing through one would of thought because they are not building 199/204's yet so the production is exclusively 150's.

Are you sure it's going to Sheerness - we though that too and tracked the Mallaca Highway with excitement - next thing we knew - it was already in Grimsby!

I believe VW does apply some logic to shipping based on the UK dealership location. If your dealer is in the south, my money is on your van going to Sheerness.

That seems slow, their form seems to be to confirm a week or two before actual obviously once they have confirmed parts are in? Hopefully you will get some good news soon.

Hi - I think you picked your cali up recently? We need some advice re payment - how do you make a payment to the dealer with current covid restrictions - any advice on this? We are in tier 2 and picking up from tier 2, but want to make sure we have everything in place and ready. Thanks

If your paying cash like we did when we picked up a ex demo on Monday and used our Credit card for small amount to maximise points collection then Debit Card to pay went through without question. If its rejected you should be able to phone bank to get it approved or if you want call the bank to tell them what your doing. our bank said call no more than 30 mins before transaction, we forgot and the card payment just went straight through

I had intended to pay it all on the day of collection but HSBC made it a little difficult. I therefore took a little risk and made 3 large BACS transfers across 3 days before collection. Did a small payment first to check the destination account.

If I use his time breakdown it could still be up to 14 working days (i.e. middle of January given Christmas) until I'm likely to get a call to collect. How does this sit with others general experience?

So funny! I just spoke to him this morning as well and our Ocean is in exactly the same position awaiting transport to North London.

My cw50 150 has stalled at status 20. They have supply chain issues, as you would expect at the moment.
Many suppliers in the automotive industry are struggling with reduced capacity due to illness and insolvencies.
I'm not too bothered. Was expecting delays anyway.

Hi. I had a week 50 build and VW chat have told me it has landed at a UK port but were unspecific as to which. Very excited though. They have said it is waiting for a transport order. Next problem will be how to pick it up as we are in tier 4.
