What have you bought for your Cali today :-)

Picked up a set of Outwell Fallcrest side panels and a front panel for the awning (from the shop here). Tried them out and they took 5 minutes from start to finish to put up!

Lucky they arrived in time as we're going away today and I think it's not going to be the best weather...

Now fitted. Just need some sun now. :-( View attachment 81428

The curly cable straight end by the panel, that is cable tied along the length of the aluminium panel frame, at 90 degrees to what you have it, and the connector goes under the panel in teh roof indentation. Thsi means there is no strain on the connector and cable as it enters the panel, and the curly cord is at the correct tension.

I'll mock one up and take a photo and upload it shortly. Been meanign to update the instructions with a photo.

Heko wind deflectors.
Had Dubflecta ones on my T25, so will see how these compare. Easy to fit. The barbed part of the clip faces inwards toward the inside of the van.

We have these on our van, fit perfectly, ideal for letting in some fresh air in the rain without the drips coming in.. Also great for overnight camping when you need to have a window open slightly, they also look good.

Looks smart. Just about to order from Roger. How many hours did it take you please? Install straightforward - any top tips? Thank you.
Just finished mine, 3 hours (2 panels to a Beach), but did have to shift my roof bar mounts / panels around to get the best position…as the panels need to sit right at the rear of the roof channels… quicker if you have nothing on the roof.

I made some shelves! Quite chuffed and only about £40 all in !

Looks great!! This is my next project so it’s great to see how you did this. Thinking about two shelves and leaving the bottom open for the shove factor :)

Currently making mosquito nets which is taking a while due to workloads elsewhere so think shelves will have to push back to end of summer.

Quick, there’s someone trapped in your wine glass!
It’s actually a vase and a spectacularly unimpressed better half !
Hi Alan,
These look great and thanks for sharing. Would you be kind to share the size / template ?
Hi, happy to but literally just leaving for a few days in the cali. Will share a link when I get back to all the sizes, brackets etc.

I posted the carpet pics as "yesterday" ... but that was really Tuesday. Wednesday was a more exciting day. Drove to ...

... the gearshifts are more timely and responsive and no more of the droning in 7th gear at about 1100 rpm. I am sure this will only help the engine and the DMF in the long run (but currently it is definitely helping my peace of mind that the engine is running as it should :thumb ).

So you went to Bognor motors but you don’t say what they did or what the issue they fixed was?
