Thanks for that!If you are expecting a south delivery there is this boat on route...
I don’t know what boat it’s on. I only know that it was at the port yesterday morning (not sure when it got there) and that a boat left for Sheerness late last night. Doesn’t mean it’s on it though, just hoping!Interested to know how you guys get to know what boat your van is maybe on?
I just went to photograph it and woah! it's gone, on both sides. My mistake, I could have sworn it had them, and that I had to remove them when putting the seat covers on, but I got confused with the blanking plates at the side and back. I DONT have the front blanking plate after all, but it does look like there are slots for one to attach.Could you take a photo please?

What’s the latest on your order? I ordered a similar spec Coast from MyCalifornia 13 months ago, so keen to hear how you’re getting on. CheersI just cycled past the factory and took a sneaky look around the periphery. I saw a couple of hundred Transporters, Cali's of various flavours, Bulli's and six tutti-frutti coloured Lambo Urus' SUV's (didn't know these 226k Euro beasts were made at the Hannover Nutzfahrzeuge) parked up and waiting for transportation. Wish I had my cell phone with me to take a few pics.
Your van sounds like the twin of mine which went into build last week. Same colour, same options and same wheels. When did yours go into build?Spoke to Dave M over at Eurovans (top chap) and great news - van has gone from a 20 to a 38 (at port).
He thinks that it will have departed within a week heading to Sheerness and by his numbers and process we should have by the end of the month - fingers crossed for a series of July and Aug trips.
He said that VW are pushing these through quick to be registered by end June (Q1 results and all that) so he is confident of the timeline. Let's see, but we hoped end June to mid July so our internal clock is still fine.
For info we are a July 21st 2021 fully loaded Ocean in white + green and the only options we don't have is sport packs, towbar and the 4M. So the 204, Palmerston alloys, shower, wood floors, upgraded satnav system, all the self driving toys same as our Tiguan and many other bits and bobs.
All the "extras" are bought and filling the garage, just musing on top mattress now that does not take a load of space and how best to store my road bike and keep it safe and un-nickable. Some sort of rail mounted and removable travel case is my current thinking.
Keep the faith...
I was supposed to take delivery at the end of May but there was a slight 'hiccup' shall we say, with the order (nothing to do with Campers.eu you'll be glad to hear) and still awaiting a resolution from VW.What’s the latest on your order? I was told build week was 16th May - so all in it's taken 3 - 4 weeks from build week to port. Likely shortages on line and had to wait here and there. Then another 2 - 3 weeks for delivery, jives with most peoples experience of 6 - 8 weeks from build week to delivery all totted up.Your van sounds like the twin of mine which went into build last week. Same colour, same options and same wheels. When did yours go into build?
Keep us posted ref the road bike storage. After something myself for my road bike for when I nip over to Europe on my own to do a few big hills!Spoke to Dave M over at Eurovans (top chap) and great news - van has gone from a 20 to a 38 (at port).

Easy. Grab your phone and get back out on that bike man!!! Then post here.I just cycled past the factory and took a sneaky look around the periphery. I never did receive a blankieThat's a bit of a blanket statement.
18 months wait and not a sniff of a blanket, letter or any other consolation prize. You UK buyers have it good![]()
After everything thats happened in the last couple of weeks I'll just be happy to get the Coast I ordered.I never did receive a blankie![]()
Did l see you posted it’s on it way ? Had mine about 3 weeks and love it more each time we go out in it , trust me it’s worth the wait! Hope it comes quickly for you .After everything thats happened in the last couple of weeks I'll just be happy to get the Coast I ordered.
My Build Week 19 should be with me end of next week, so based on that about 6 to 7 weeks.Just received communication from Amy at Liverpool that our June 21 150 ocean has a build week 27. 4 weeks away. Hopefu get it for back end of summer. Any idea on how long from build date to dealer ?
My build week was WK20, but according to Amy it’s still in build so not sure what the holdup is. Mine is also a Ocean 150, two tone (which I guess is another step in the build), tow bar, bigger wheels. My Build Week 19 should be with me end of next week, so based on that about 6 to 7 weeks.

My dealer also has finally said the magic phrase ‘your Cali is at Emden’, at least it is the next stage, though still cautious not to get too excited about a potential delivery by end of month…Spoke to Dave M over at Eurovans (top chap) and great news - van has gone from a 20 to a 38 (at port).
