Hi, this is my first post here so please be kind
I have a 2017 204 VW Ocean T6 (with a roof solar panel) and have a couple of issues with it that started at the same time but may also be unrelated. I've had a search here and i cant find any posts which seem to fit the exact same problem and i'm not sure of a garage who deal with electrical issues to take it to (Im in North East London).
One day when we hadn't driven the van for a few weeks the control panel flashed up with a voltage plausibility fault and the electrics wouldnt charge from driving, at the same time the cabin filled up with petrol smell on start up. May be a total coincidence!?
Since then, the error message doesn't come up but the control panel is either totally blank or very very faint.
Does anyone have an idea of a solution (change the leisure batteries? or could it be a solar panel fault?) or can recommend an auto-electrician in my area?
Thanks.
