Kitchen lid rattle

Same, noticed it driving home from the dealership, microfibre drying cloth underneath the lid, wedged in stops it

Picked up another really loud annoying rattle from the dash this weekend, plastic on plastic at the front pillar

Easy to fix with a bit of tape but for an £80k van, VW should really do better

We've a new T6.1 and have the same, I messed about in the back and can't identify the cause.

Decided to just ignore it, we're so lucky to have a new van and a little noise isn't going to stop our enjoyment.

Actually Ignore it is not the correct term, more like 'embrace it', it's part of the vans character.

I found out that one particularly annoying rattle (coming from the kitchen lid direction) was actually the spark ignition button that had become loose. The fix was easy (if you have small enough hands) just to tighten the back-nut underneath the stainless steel cooking surface.
