Hi. I may have this rattle too! Does your picture show the correct positioning? I can’t tell if mine have moved. What part of the folded canopy struts should they touch

When the centre arms are folded the two hinge points should align with the clips. Get the awning "almost" closed, put your head under and just slide them into position. The fully close.
