What have you done with your California today?

His name is Bodie.he’s going on holiday to the Peak District at the end of the month so will be doing a lot of little journeys for acclimatisation. So far so good.
@maidment ocean, you are obviously great pet parents to have got your border to such a good age :)

Haha, yes we are, his monthly meds cost more than our Cali!, but he’s worth it.

How about a constant 17 deg in the pop top most of the year. Can get these used for a reasonable cost. Super quiet and never gets in the way when mounted as shown. Dyson Hot/Cold DC09

Is this the AM09 or is the DC09 a different model? Am thinking of purchasing one.
How effective do you find the cool air as I’ve read mixed reviews.

Bought this fan for off grid camping in France next couple of weeks (Anticipating a heat wave)

It surprisingly good and powerful fan for the money, it's currently on offer for £8 !

Various speeds , separate light (dimable / two brightness led) , usb charging , replaceable LiOn batteries.

Can be stood up on its base or hung up from the integrated hook in the base , titled etc.

For the money it's a no brainier.

Sounds like a bargain, thanks for the heads up, my dog might appreciate one of those in the hot weather.

I have something similar with a clip/stand from Home Bargains last year and for the same sort of price.
image.jpg However, it’s a bit noisy. I thought that it might be worth spending a bit more to get something quiet. Does yours whisper or shout?

On the low setting it's quiet, on high it's fairly audible.

They are charged straight out of the box ! So could be cheeky in the shop
