What have you done with your California today?

Gerdar mountain hut, Baqueira ski resort, Aran valley, Spanish Pyrenees. As the hut was full, I slept in the van. The diesel parking heater meant sleeping in light pjs. Anybody considering using the van in winter should know that this equipment is absolutely fit for purpose. Notice that the other vehicles are frozen while my van is snow free. That means that the van has almost no insulation, but the parking heater works so well that it doesn't matter. Roof was down, with only the factory side and rear blinds down. Powder was epic.

Edit: I have Michelin Crossclimate Agilis fitted, and even in these conditions I didn't have to use chains, while every other car in this pic did.

Its been doing great service as a general utility vehicle. Got us and dogs from Edinburgh to York with a picnic (with sea views) at Alnmouth and just now as a party transport getting my rather infirm 90 year old mother in law to her birthday lunch.
