Brandrup Air-Safe for use with VW California T5/T6/T6.1 – With Electronic Automatic Closing Aid –
The Brandrup Air-Safe is the perfect piece of kit that allows ventilation and airflow whilst the vehicle is still safely locked.
The rear cargo area cannot be aired by windows. As a result, air and heat accumulate, the Brandrup Air-Safe can be quickly installed to allow a gap of approximately 10cm to dissipate air and humidity whilst the vehicle remains safe.
Made of high-grade stainless steel (V2A) ensures there is enough strength to hold open the tailgate for long periods. The Air-safe is hooked into the closure via the original catch.
There are multiple air-safes available for different vehicles, this particular air-safe is for vehicles with an electronic automatic closing aid. If you have a vehicle without the electronic aid then you will need code 100 150 052 which can be found on our website.
Please Note: Although the air-safe is strong and able to hold open the tailgate by 10cm, please remove it in extreme weather conditions to ensure the safety of the tailgate mechanism.

Not actually used for a trip yet but have trialed it,simple clever peice of kit worth it for being able to prop tailgate open safely

Simple to set up, locks in place when you lock the car. Great air circulation and peace of mind as totally secure.
